Megan is a fifteen years old girl that wakes up one morning and find’s out the most horrible news she can ever find out about herself- she is pregnant! .
This news was going to change her life forever. What was her mom going to say? Or her best friend Claire. And Luke her ex boyfriend that was a factor of the big reason she was in that situation.
Claire is the first person that knows the horrible news. She is shocked, but glad to think that it didn’t happen to her. Luke is speechless and has nothing to say to Megan, but the fact that he is sorry.
Her mom is furious, she is so mad and ashamed of what people are going to say and think that she wants to send her to Australia to live with her father.
Beside the fact that Megan needed to let everyone that was close to her about the horrifying news, she had to face the biggest dissection there is, wither to keep the baby or not?
Although out the pregnancy Megan can’t decide, each person tells her something else. Her mom says to give it out for adoption, her social worker Susie says to do what she feels. Her aunt that she is sent to live with until the birth of the baby tells her how she gave her baby away and how it has left a scar in her heart until this very day. Megan is very confused, and she cant decide until the moment that she holds the baby in her arms and it all comes clear to her, that no matter what, nothing was going to separate her from her baby.
